Football is constantly evolving, the rules changes, competition formats change, player physicality changes...*cough*...VAR gets introduced...

Powerade are a brand at the heart of sports performance, specifically hydration, but rather than talk about electrolytes and minerals we created engaging content that aligned hydration evolution with the evolution of kit and equipment.

We worked with Germany's 2014 World Cup winning hero, Mario Götze, and Mexican football icon Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández to show what happens when modern day players are given old fashioned equipment.
